Today we'll explore the historical part of Bangkok using public transport and tuk-tuks, giving us the opportunity to experience Bangkok like a local. We begin our journey in busy Chinatown, to discover small shops and stalls hidden in the backstreets and alleyways. We'll then continue to Pak Klong Talat, the Flower Market, which is open 24/7 and offers a wide variety of fresh flowers, food, and souvenirs.
Today, we're in for a real treat as we explore the vibrant streets of Bangkok using a combination of public transport and classic tuk-tuks, uncovering the city's historical gems. Our morning kicks off with a visit to the awe-inspiring Grand Palace, the peaceful Emerald Buddha, and the massive 43m-long Golden Reclining Buddha in Wat Pho.
After a tasty vegan lunch, we'll check out the Temple of the Dawn and then hop on a private long-tail boat for a cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Get ready for a unique perspective of the city, cruising through charming canals where locals still call stilted houses home. It's going to be a day to remember!
