Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - BANGKOK Arrival

Welcome to Thailand, the Land of Smiles 😊

Today is arrival day so your day is free to settle in, until 18:00 when we'll meet up for a pre-trip info meeting and for everyone to meet each other. Afterwards we can head out for a bite to eat to get the tour off to a great start.

Day 2 - BANGKOK & Royal Grand Palace & Temple Tour

Today, we're in for a real treat as we explore the vibrant streets of Bangkok using a combination of public transport and  classic tuk-tuks, uncovering the city's historical gems. Our morning kicks off with a visit to the awe-inspiring Grand Palace, the peaceful Emerald Buddha, and the massive 43m-long Golden Reclining Buddha in Wat Pho.

After a tasty vegan lunch, we'll check out the Temple of the Dawn and then hop on a private long-tail boat for a cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Get ready for a unique perspective of the city, cruising through charming canals where locals still call stilted houses home. It's going to be a day to remember!

Day 3 - BANGKOK & Mae Klong Railway Market - Damnern Saduak Floating Market

Today we venture outside of the city to visit the fascinating Mae Klong railway market, a unique spot right on the train tracks. As we stroll through the stalls, trying local fruit and snacks, we'll witness the vendors swiftly packing up when the train approaches. It's a sight to behold as the market springs back to life once the train passes.

Our journey continues by hopping on a long-tail boat from Mae Klong to Damnoen Saduak floating market, another gem in Bangkok. Get ready for a boat ride around the river market, where vendors on boats sell everything from fruits to snacks and noodle dishes. We'll have ample time to explore both the water and the market's shores.

After a satisfying vegan lunch and a bit of shopping, our next stop is Wat Bang Koong, a temple adorned with the roots of four unique plants: Pho (Bodhi tree), Sai (Banyan tree), Krai, and Krang.

Day 4 - BANGKOK - Free Day

It's been a but few days and today we give everyone the opportunity o wake up late, relax and wind down for the day - Or not, because Bangkok is still chock full of a million things to do

You can spend today relaxing by the pool, shopping in any one of Bangkok's hundreds of malls, exploring at your own pace. Alternatively your tour leaders will have arranged a choice of optional activities to help you get the most from your last day in Bangkok.

Day 5 - CHIANG MAI (Flight Included) & an Authentic Vegan Thai Cooking Class

The flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand is a short one at around 1hr 20 mins. After we've checked in and freshened up a little, we're not only going to Taste a bit of Thailand, we're going to learn how to cook it ourselves before sitting down to enjoy the fruits of our own labor.

One of the best things about travelling is experiencing the different foods available and Thailand is famous for it's amazing cuisine. From sweet treats to spicy mouth tinglers, Thailand has it all, and just because we're plant-based doesn't mean we need to miss out.

On the way home we can head down to Chiang Mai's famous night bazaar to explore the numerous stall and shops and of course to try sample a little more  of Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand's street food.

Day 6 - CHIANG MAI & Elephant Nature Park and SkyWalk sanctuaries

Let's spend a full day immersed in the world of rescued elephants! We'll visit two special sanctuaries today - SkyWalk and Elephant Nature Park. Both are dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for elephants who've been through tough times.

At SkyWalk, we'll get a unique perspective from an elevated walkway. It's like having a bird's-eye view of the elephant herds as they roam freely in their natural habitat. We'll hear the stories of these amazing creatures and learn how they came to be here.

Then, we'll head over to Elephant Nature Park, where we can get even closer to the elephants. We'll walk around the park and observe them in their chosen herds. We might see them playing in the mud, splashing in the river, or just hanging out with their friends. It's a chance to see their intelligence, strength, and gentle nature firsthand.

And it's not just about elephants! Both sanctuaries are also home to other rescued animals including buffaloes, dogs, cats, horses, goats, and birds. We can visit them too and learn about their stories.

We'll enjoy a delicious vegan lunch and hear from the passionate people who care for these animals, and leave feeling inspired by their dedication and love for these amazing creatures.

Here's what we can expect:

  • A scenic drive through the countryside to the sanctuaries.
  • Up-close encounters with rescued elephants and other animals.
  • Learning about the individual stories of the animals.
  • Observing natural elephant behavior, like socializing, playing, and bathing.
  • A delicious and healthy vegan lunch.
  • Supporting a worthy cause that helps elephants and other animals in need.

Day 7 - CHIANG MAI Free Day

The past week has been a whirlwind of activity so today we give you the opportunity to catch a breath and do you own thing. Maybe you'll take a walk around some of Chiang Mai's 300+ temples or relax with an authentic Thai massage. Our hotels has a lovely pool so you won't even need to leave the hotel to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing day.

Of course if you want to get out and explore or maybe go white-water rafting, trekking or enjoy an off-road ATV adventure you tour leaders will be more than happy to make some recommendations and book anything for you.

Day 8 - CHIANG MAI & White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), Golden Triangle and the Mekong River

There's just one more to go before we fly to the beautiful island of Phuket for some well earned rest and relaxation on the beach.

So before we go, let's make the most of our time here as we leave Chiang Mai and head east for an immersive journey to explore the heart of northern Thailand, twisting and turning through jungle valleys and sleepy villages. As the sun streams through the window we can catch glimpses of passing rice paddies and maybe even a cheeky monkey swinging through the trees.

First stop, a dip in the Mae Kachan hot springs with steam rising like dragons breath before continuing East for our first glimpse of the incredible White Temple, shimmering white and silver in the bright sun.

On to Chiang Rai, where things get even more interesting as we meet the local Hill Tribe villagers with their traditions and costumes wilder than any fashion show.

Next, we cruise along the banks of the mighty Mekong River, enjoying a local lunch while watching life unfold on the Laotian side of the river, before making our way back to Chiang Mai, tired but brimming with a host of memories and photos to treasure for a lifetime.

Day 9 - PHUKET Flight included

Today we bid a fond farewell to Northern Thailand and venture South the explore the Islands of South Thailand.

Our Two-hour flight takes us over Bangkok and south towards Phuket, Thailand's largest Island. Phuket is a great base to explore Koh Phi Phi, James Bond Island and Maya Bay made famous as 'The Beach', as well as offering it's own charms including fantastic beaches, great nightlife and an array of international cuisine.

After arriving to Phuket we'll have time to unpack and freshen up before heading out for a brief orientation and dinner.

Day 10 - PHUKET & Phi Phi Island Speedboat Tour (Full Day)

While we've come down to Phuket to relax and make the most of Thailand's chilled out Island vibe, no trip to a world renowned island would be complete without at least one day spent at sea. So join us today on this full day trip to Koh Phi Phi, Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon & Bamboo Island.

The voyage starts with a visit to the iconic Maya Bay, made famous by the movie "The Beach." While we can't land due to tidal conditions, we'll enjoy stunning views from the boat. Our sightseeing continues at Loh Samah Bay, Viking Cave, and Pileh Lagoon. Here, you'll have the chance to take a refreshing dip or go snorkeling in this aquatic paradise.

A sumptuous buffet lunch awaits us at a secluded beachside restaurant, allowing us to savor the flavors of the region. Following lunch, we'll hop back on the speedboat for a visit to Bamboo Island, known for its pristine white sandy beach—an ideal spot for swimming, relaxation, and further snorkeling.

So if you do want to venture out, want to try scuba diving or simply have a question or need a good recommendation then we're always around the hotel ready and happy to help.

Of course we also need to eat so most nights we'll be inviting everyone out to eat with us. No obligation to join but we feel it's nice to have the choice.
